Howdy blogging friends,

Hope you're all digging out of the snow over there in Massachusetts! It's slushy here in New York but the trees look incredible!

Unfortunately, I've developed a lovely virus over the last few days. Been laid up and in bed for far too long. Happily I've been getting work done too!

I've been working on my sculpture of Le Garre de Saint Lazare and it's coming together! Just got to work on hanging it from a rope.

Doesn't it look like chaos in our studio right now? Nutty!

My second class is all about drawing from observation and this week we've worked on ink drawings. Not only are these to practice observational drawing, they're also to learn the techniques involved with sumi ink drawing. Here's mine-

oh my god it looks like the aftermath of a tornado in that studio. How do you know where your debris feild ends and someone else's begins? Hope you feel better fast! Hugs.
