Hi blog friends! Hope you're having wonderful Wednesdays!
The snow is melting here in Marblehead, yet some snow drifts are still double my height or more. I'm jealous of my friends in sunny Floridia! Say hi to Mickey for me!
Anyway, I've been busy this week doing all kinds of errands for my various family members (oh, joy) but I've managed to fit in some knitting!
March has several birthdays for my friends and family so a lot of knitted items are for that. I can only show you one that I started working on yesterday but is coming along beautifully. Emma Kane asked for a sweater for her birthday, one with wings. I like a good healthy challenge now and again so I've decided that is what she was getting. Here's what I've got so far:
The sweater's main color is an acrylic one pound ball of grey and the highlight wing color is this cool Vanna White copper that shimmers in the light. Underneath, you can see the chart that's going to give me a run for my money. There's a second page two!
Look at that shine!
Well that's what I can show you this week because all the rest are gifts but please enjoy this photo of me "trying on" a hat.
Xo,
Emma
